Eligibility/Qualification–
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- First Class Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG programs) with 7 years of experience, OR
- Second Class Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG programs) with PhD and NET/GATE qualification
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in phage display technology
- Experience in isolation of antibodies using screening of naïve and immune phage display libraries
- Demonstrated research experience in relevant molecular biology or biotechnology techniques

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites applications from Indian nationals for a Scientist position under a DBT-sponsored research project in the Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering. The project focuses on developing nanobody-based anti-tumour agents targeting FAT protein using advanced techniques such as phage display technology, virology, and mammalian cell culture. Designation: Scientist (Project Position)
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting research in phage display technology, virology, and mammalian cell culture
- Planning, designing, and executing laboratory experiments
- Screening phage display libraries to isolate antibodies
- Supporting research activities in related laboratories
- Contributing to experimental design, data analysis, and project reporting
