Ph.D. in relevant Engineering discipline (or equivalent as per institute norms)
Master’s degree in the relevant field with first class (or equivalent) may also be considered where Ph.D. candidates are not available
Relevant teaching and/or research experience is desirable

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar invites applications for Temporary Faculty positions in the Departments of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. Eligible candidates will be interviewed as per the schedule below. Candidates must bring original documents and may request online interview mode within the stipulated deadlines.

Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in the respective department
Assist in curriculum development and academic activities
Conduct research, project supervision, and mentoring of students
Demonstrate effective teaching/communication skills before the interview panel
Fulfil any other academic duties assigned by the department
