About- National Institute of Technology Srinagar (J&K) is one amongst the 31 NITs established by GoI, an Institution of National Importance declared by the Act of Parliament and a premier technical Institution of the Country, offering several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering/Technology, Sciences, & allied areas, and also provides excellent ambience for academic research and co-curricular activities.

Eligibility-
Note-1: 04 vacancies [01 vacancy each for Category A (Blindness and Low Vision), Category B (Deaf and Hard of Hearing), Category C (Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy), and Category D/E (Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness, Multiple Disabilities including Deaf-Blindness)] are reserved for PwBD candidates horizontally across all departments and categories.
Note-2: Distribution of reserved vacancies across departments is tentative and is subject to change depending upon the availability of the reserved category candidates.
Note-3: Candidates with Direct Ph.D after B.Tech are also eligible for the above mentioned vacancies.
Note-4: The candidates must have first class at Bachelors and Master Degree level.
Note-5: In case of non-availability of EWS candidates, the vacancies may be filled by UR candidates on the recommendations of Selection Committee.
Job/Position Description-
- The fixed remuneration of Rs. 65,000/- per month shall be paid for the assignment for being on active duty.
- The selected candidates will be required to join immediately and are required to be present physically at the station of posting.
