Assistant Professor vacancies are available in the following departments:

Eligibility / Qualification

The educational qualifications and experience requirements vary according to the position.

1. Assistant Professor (09 Posts)

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Must have qualified UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET or hold a PhD degree meeting applicable UGC regulations.
• Candidates with qualifying PhD degrees may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET as per UGC guidelines.
• Age: 21–38 years for General category, with applicable age relaxation for reserved categories.

2. Deputy Registrar (01 Post)

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• At least 09 years of experience as Assistant Professor or above, including 03 years of educational administration experience; OR
• Comparable experience in research establishments/higher education institutions; OR
• 05 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent.
• Maximum age: 50 years.

3. Deputy Controller of Examinations (01 Post)

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• 09 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level-10 or above with educational administration experience; OR
• Comparable experience in research establishments/higher education institutions; OR
• 05 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers and networking is mandatory.
• Maximum age: 50 years.

4. Finance Officer (01 Post)

Candidates must fulfil either of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 08 years of experience in finance and accounts in a university, government organization, PSU or research organization; OR
• Professional qualification from ICWAI/ICAI or MBA Finance with 05 years of management-level experience in finance and accounts.
• Maximum age: 50 years.

5. Librarian (01 Post)

• Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
• 08 years of experience as Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
• Evidence of innovative library services, including ICT integration.
• PhD in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or related specified fields.

6. Junior Assistant (01 Post)

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Computer proficiency certificate from a recognized institute.
• Relevant experience in higher academic institutions is desirable.

7. Laboratory Assistant (01 Post)

• Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university.
• Experience in wet and dry laboratories is desirable.
• Computer proficiency certificate is desirable.

8. Laboratory Bearer (02 Posts)

• Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification.
• Similar work experience is desirable.

9. Grade-IV (02 Posts)

• Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification.
• Similar work experience is desirable.

Scholarship / Recruitment Description

This is a university recruitment opportunity rather than a scholarship or fellowship programme. Selected candidates will receive salaries according to the applicable pay levels and university rules.

Selection Process

• Applications will be scrutinized by the Screening Committee.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview/written test.
• Junior Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Laboratory Bearer and Grade-IV positions will involve a written test.
• For other positions, candidates will be shortlisted for interview/written test as applicable.
