Deakin University, Australia invites applications for Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from eligible and interested candidates
About- The Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (ADPRF) is now open for 2024. Applicants must have been awarded a PhD on or after 1 January 2020 or, together with allowable career interruptions, have an award of PhD date commensurate with a PhD Award Date of 1 January 2020. The Fellowship provides 2 years of salary support and a research support grant of $15,000. To submit an EOI, applicants must complete the EOI form and send it to adigrant@deakin.edu.au. The EOI scheme closes on Friday 14 July 2023.

Job/Position Description-
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for 2024 Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (ADPRF). The Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI) will have its own assessment panel and will therefore manage its own EOI process.
The Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowships are intended to build research and innovation capability and excellence to create impact, in strategic priority research strengths at Deakin University.
The Fellowships support and develop early career researchers identified as potential rising star, aiming to enhance the capacity and capability in key research areas and build the next generation of high-achieving and internationally competitive researchers.
Please note EOI is only necessary for applicants who wish to be hosted at ADI. Otherwise, please refer to the official Deakin ADPRF website or contact Alfred Deakin PR Fellows (adprfellowships@deakin.edu.au) for further questions.
The Fellowship provides 2 years of salary support from a Level A, Step 6 up to the top of Level B classification, commensurate with experience (ranges from $92,891 – $123,739 per annum, current at 1 May 2022).
Successful Fellows also receive a once off research support grant of $15,000, to be used throughout the Fellowship. This grant must be used for direct research costs that relate specifically to the research project.
