Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants must hold a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or an equivalent degree in a relevant field. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in computational and theoretical chemistry research, with a working knowledge of quantum chemistry at the MSc level and proficiency in a modern computer programming language.
Responsibilities and Qualifications: The successful candidate will conduct detailed quantum-chemical studies on organic photoactive molecules, focusing on inversion of singlet and triplet states, which violate Hund’s rule. The research will utilize advanced molecular modeling techniques for electronic structure calculations and wave function analysis. The ideal candidate should have a strong aptitude for computational and theoretical chemistry research.
