Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed second-cycle degree
- Courses in physical chemistry, statistical thermodynamics, protein chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics, and programming are advantageous
- Knowledge of atomistic and coarse-grained modeling and MD/MC is beneficial
- Previous practical experience with X-ray/neutron/light scattering is a plus
- Not resided in Sweden for more than 12 months from 2020-10-30 to 2023-10-31 for work or studies
- Completed at least 240 credits, including 60 credits from second-cycle courses, before 2024-03-01
- Second cycle education in a relevant field, e.g., physics, chemistry, biophysical chemistry
Job Description:
- Conduct research on intrinsically disordered proteins and liquid-liquid phase separation
- Use experimental and theoretical approaches, including small angle scattering, atomistic MD simulations, and coarse-grained MC simulations
- Develop analysis routines and models
- Secondment of 3-12 months at MAX IV laboratory in Lund
- Attend beamtimes, international conferences, and training schools
- Participate in specialized courses
- Travel as required for research activities
