Scholarship Description: This Postdoctoral Research Fellowship offers a 24-month full-time opportunity at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES), University of Oslo. Work with PI Andrew Foote on the ERC-funded project EXPLOAD, focusing on threespine stickleback populations in post-glacial isolation lakes. Investigate evolutionary genomics, mutation load, and fitness effects across populations using contemporary and paleo-genomic datasets.
Eligibility: To be eligible for this Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Ph.D. in biology or a related subject.
- Strong background in population genomics and bioinformatics.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written communication skills).
