Eligibility/Qualification: To be eligible for the NTU Research Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Local or international student applying for full-time admission to a Graduate Research program at NTU.

Coverage and Award Terms:
- The scholarship does not entail any bond.
- Initial tenure of one (1) year, renewable based on academic progress.
- Maximum duration: Two (2) years for Master’s candidates, Four (4) years for PhD candidates, contingent on school discretion and research funding availability.

1Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions will be provided at a rate linked to the current employer’s contribution rate set by CPF, in addition to the monthly stipend.
2International Students are expected to perform teaching or laboratory supervision duties to fulfill the requirements of the Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP). Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents may participate in GAP at the discretion of the schools.
- Successful Ph.D. candidates who pass the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination/Confirmation may qualify for an additional stipend of up to $500 per month, subject to high research performance and the attainment of prescribed course standards. The University reserves the right to adjust the stipend amount with written notice.
- The scholarship covers the annual tuition fee in addition to the monthly stipend.
