Assistant Research Scientist- Postdoctoral: Join the Global Nitrogen Innovation Center for Clean Energy and the Environment (NICCEE) as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Integrated Nitrogen Modeling. Contribute to the development of a nitrogen module in the Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM) and assess the impact of green ammonia technologies on sustainability challenges such as climate change, food security, and nutrient pollution.

Eligibility/Qualification: The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. received within the last 5 years or within the next 8 months, a strong publication record, and experience with computer-based modeling, ideally in R, C++, and/or Python.

Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will collaborate with the Global Nitrogen Innovation Center for Clean Energy and the Environment (NICCEE) to develop a nitrogen module in the Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM). Your work will involve assessing the potential impacts of green ammonia technologies on various sustainability challenges, including climate change, food security, and nutrient pollution. The position is located at the Joint Global Change Research Institute and offers an annual salary of $58,000 with fringe benefits. It is a full-time appointment with annual renewals for up to 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
