Eligibility/QualificationPh.D. Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering obtained within the last 3 years. Hands-on experience with heterogeneous catalysis and CO2 chemistry, practical skills with batch and continuous flow reactor systems, and excellent English language and communication skills are required.
Job DescriptionThe project focuses on designing and researching nanostructured transitional metal catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation, with an emphasis on CO2 conversion into value-added products and prebiotic chemistry. The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for the design, synthesis, characterization, and catalytic screening of solid catalysts for CO2 reduction. The position is remunerated according to TVÖD (Bund) and is initially limited to one year with the possibility of further extension.
