Job Description:
Postdoctoral Researcher in Biological Systems Engineering
The Postdoc Researcher will:
- Develop crop process-based growth models to estimate crop growth stages, biomass, and yield under forecasted weather and projected climate conditions.
- Create machine learning models for predicting crop yield using historical yield data and phenology outputs from crop growth models.
- Develop physical-guided machine learning models that integrate crop growth models with machine learning for decision-making.
