Post-Doctoral Position in Immunology: The Centre de Recherche en Infectiologie (CIRI) at INSERM U1111, CNRS UMR 5308, ENS Lyon, UCBL1, Lyon, France, invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Position in Immunology. The position is in the research team ‘NLRP3 Inflammasome and Immune Response to Sepsis’ led by Dr. Benedicte PY NLRP3 Team CIRI. The research focuses on the role of NLRP3 inflammasome in the immune response to sepsis, investigating its dual role in cytokine storm during the initial phase and down-regulation/inhibition during sepsis-induced immunosuppression.

Eligibility/Qualification:

• Relevant doctor’s degree in Immunology or Infectiology.
• High motivation, self-initiative, and independence.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
• Strong cell biology knowledge and skills with an Immunology background.
• Previous experience in animal models of infection.
• Strong publication record in international journals (postdoctoral researcher) in Immunology, Infectiology, Molecular and Cellular Biology.
