Call for research grants: Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of Graphene-Based Materials

Post-Doctoral Fellowship Position at USA, Ozbolat Laboratory at Penn State

Summary: The research project focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and application of graphene-based materials, including graphene and graphene oxide. The objective is to achieve controlled material properties and establish a relationship between morphology and functional and toxicological properties. The study employs Experimental Design (DoE) techniques to understand and select synthesis parameters impacting material characteristics. A chemometric model will be developed to predict final properties, followed by extensive characterization using various techniques. The research is part of a European project.

Research Area (CUN): 03 – Chemical Sciences

S.S.D: CHIM/01 – ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

Designation: Research Fellow

Location: Italy

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Recipients of the research grant (of target group): Early-stage researcher or 0-4 years (Post-graduate), Experienced researcher or 4-10 years (Post-Doc)
  • Countries where research can be conducted: Italy
