Eligibility/Qualification–
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Fibre Science, Textile Chemistry, or equivalent from a recognized institute/university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Bioprocess engineering
- Strain development
- Relevant project-related research background
- Note: The post may be downgraded at the discretion of the Selection Committee if no suitable candidate is found.
- 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.
- In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per IRD norms.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for a contractual appointment under the project “Smart Hemostatic Aerogels based on Silk and Cellulose composites for complex shaped wounds (RP05092G)” funded by the Department of Health Research, India. The position is purely temporary, renewable yearly, or up to the project duration (till 03/09/2028), whichever is earlier.

- Conduct research on silk and cellulose composite-based hemostatic aerogels.
- Work on complex-shaped wound healing materials.
- Undertake laboratory experiments and contribute to project objectives.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in technical documentation.
