Postdoctoral Researcher in Radiopharmacy/Radiochemistry: The University of Antwerp, a dynamic and forward-thinking European university, is seeking a full-time (100%) postdoctoral researcher in the field of radiopharmacy/radiochemistry. The position is within the Center for Radiopharmaceuticals Antwerp (CREANT), part of the Molecular Imaging Center Antwerp (MICA) in the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing academic programs, design and synthesize novel radiopharmaceuticals, and support collaborations with external partners.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in (radio)pharmacy, (radio)chemistry, or similar, with relevant experience in working with radiopharmaceuticals.
- Hands-on experience with 11C and 18F radiochemistry, and automated radiosynthesis methods.
- Experience with radionuclide therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Research qualities aligned with faculty and university research policies.
- Attention to quality, integrity, creativity, and cooperation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Job Description: The postdoctoral researcher will work in the radiopharmacy laboratory, contributing to the development of ongoing academic programs. Key responsibilities include designing, synthesizing, and evaluating novel radiopharmaceuticals/theranostic ligands for molecular imaging and radionuclide therapy. The role involves supporting collaborations with external partners, assisting in the supervision and training of PhD students and team members, and contributing to the writing of reports, scientific papers, and project proposals for external funding.
