Postdoc Position in Energy Harvesting: Mid Sweden University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering. Location: Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering, Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in the development of catalytic processes.
- Expertise in the characterization of organic compounds and materials characterization techniques (TEM, SEM, XRD).
- Experience in using non-conventional solvents for organic synthesis, electrocatalysis, and/or mechanochemistry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or C++.
- Experience with machine learning is beneficial.
Job Description: The postdoc will:
- Focus on ambient light energy harvesting for low-power embedded systems.
- Research and develop novel methods for the systematic design of energy-neutral and/or intermittent sensing systems.
- Collaborate with PhD students, postdocs, and senior researchers.
- Contribute to the publication and communication of research results.
- Work on sustainable solutions for IoT applications.
