Postdoctoral Position in Cancer Immunology: The Sweis laboratory at the University of Chicago is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for a fully funded postdoctoral position in the field of Cancer Immunology. Eligibility/Qualification:
- MD and/or PhD in Immunology or Cancer Biology or related fields.
- Relevant research experience in cancer immunology.
- Expertise in techniques such as cell culture, murine modeling, molecular biology, bioinformatics, immunofluorescence, single-cell methods, and spatial transcriptomics.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research aimed at understanding and overcoming resistance to cancer immunotherapies. Specific projects include elucidating the mechanism by which tumor cell-intrinsic aberrant oncogenic signals disrupt the anti-tumor immune response and determining the impact of the commensal urinary microbiome on immunotherapeutic responses.
