Assistant Professor of Botany: The Department of Botany at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for up to two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions commencing in Fall 2024. We are seeking candidates in the fields of plant cell and molecular biology or biochemistry, with a focus on uncovering fundamental plant biological processes. Areas of interest include photosynthesis, growth, physiology, development, resilience, biotic interactions, and other high-impact aspects of plant science. Ideal candidates should employ cutting-edge cell and molecular techniques, such as single-cell analysis, quantitative imaging, multi-omics, and advanced data science. Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of innovative and high-impact research and are expected to establish a robust, externally-funded research program with an international profile. They will also contribute to creating an inclusive, fair, and equitable academic environment.
