NIFFT, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India invites application for Assistant Professor on Contract from eligible and interested candidates
About- It was founded in 1966 by the UNDP as the National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology. It provides skilled workers for the primary metal manufacturing industries. The institute has developed a four-tiered academic structure that balances training, education, and research. NIFFT has been upgraded to a Centre of Excellence by incorporating the important attributes of autonomy into the Foundry and Forge technology. With the advent of computer-aided modeling, simulation, and design (CAMD), both industries are rapidly expanding their workforce.

- Appointment will be given initially for 01Year which may be extended for 2nd and / or 3rd year (s) subject to requirement of position and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
- This recruitment is a stop gap arrangement purely on temporary basis and Contractual Faculty so appointed shall have no claim for regular appointment.
- The List of eligible candidates and date of Interview will be uploaded on the Institute website tentatively on 31/01/2022.
