Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Health/Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related fields
- More than 5 years of post-doctoral experience
- Significant scientific achievements (publications, invited presentations) in Neurobiology & Neurologic Disorders
- Evidence of scientific autonomy (original contributions in peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience in leading research projects and securing funding
- Experience in PhD student supervision (ongoing or completed)
- Ability to contribute to the Neurobiology & Neurologic Disorders Program, specifically in ciliopathies
Note: Doctorate degrees from foreign institutions must meet the requirements set by Decree-Law No. 66/2018 (Portugal).
Job Description:
- Conduct research on Neurobiology & Neurologic Disorders, with a focus on ciliopathies
- Lead and supervise research projects and teams
- Secure and manage research funding
- Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals
- Contribute to the growth of the research group and the broader Neurobiology & Neurologic Disorders Program
