Research Area

The PhD project will investigate the acoustic behavior and sound control potential of various PV technologies, including monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels, as well as different mounting configurations. Emphasis will be placed on optimizing sound insulation, absorption, and electricity generation to create sustainable noise control solutions.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A relevant Master’s degree in acoustics, building physics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong academic background with an average grade B or better.
  • Demonstrated experience in acoustics and/or vibration through prior coursework, theses, or publications.

Job Description

  • Complete doctoral education leading to obtaining a doctorate.
  • Conduct high-quality research related to acoustic performance and PV technologies.
  • Engage in academic publications and dissemination of findings.
  • Participate actively in the Building Technologies research group and contribute to national and international conferences.
