Research Area
The focus of this research is to decipher genetic adaptation mechanisms in high-latitude environments, using whole-genome sequencing data to study multiple northern European populations of Arabidopsis lyrata.

Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in population genetics, plant biology, computational biology, genomics, molecular ecology, or relevant field (completed within the last 10 years).
- Proficiency in population genetics, computational biology, and bioinformatics.
- Experience with whole-genome sequencing data processing and analysis.
- Strong communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Description
- Process and analyze whole-genome sequencing data.
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for genome analyses.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication and contribute to conference presentations.
- Engage in teaching and thesis supervision (up to 5% of yearly work hours).
