Bellwether Postdoctoral Scholar: The School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley is seeking applications for up to four full-time Bellwether Postdoctoral Scholars. - Basic Qualifications (at time of application): PhD (or equivalent international degree) or enrollment in a PhD program.
- Additional Qualifications (at time of start): Completion of PhD (or equivalent) by the start date, with no more than three years of postdoctoral research experience.
Job Description
The Bellwether Postdoctoral Scholar program at UC Berkeley is designed for promising researchers to advance their careers. Each scholar will dedicate 30-40% of their time to independent research and collaborative projects with faculty mentors, resulting in significant publication opportunities. Positions are research-focused, with expectations to contribute to I School academic events.
Each scholar will receive:
- Access to a $5,000 annual research fund for travel and conference expenses.
- A laptop computer during the duration of the post-doc.
