Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team investigating the effects of malaria parasites on erythropoiesis, focusing on single-cell transcriptomics data. This project aims to uncover complex interactions between malaria parasites and red blood cell production, providing insights that could lead to new therapeutic strategies.
Key Responsibilities under the supervision of Arthur Talman:
- Lead the data analysis of human and parasite single-cell transcriptomics data from in vitro and in vivo samples.
- Develop and implement computational pipelines for the analysis and interpretation of high-throughput sequencing data.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, including biologists, bioinformaticians, and clinicians.
- Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, grant proposals, and presentations.
- Mentor graduate students as needed.
