Eligibility/Qualification:
- Postgraduate qualification or studying for one in a field relevant to AI ethics and governance (policy, political science, science and technology studies, media studies, sociology, or related fields).
- Relevant work experience in areas connected to the project will also be considered.
- Demonstrated awareness of key AI policy initiatives, international AI governance, and AI’s use in the media.
- Strong motivation aligned with the research program’s goals.
- Capacity to work independently and collaborate on high-quality research.
Job Description: The Research Assistant will contribute to two research streams within the Desirable Digitalisation programme. Responsibilities include developing various documents for non-academic audiences, including policymakers and media executives. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative high-quality research. This is a fixed-term post for 8 months initially.
