Description

As a Doctoral Fellow, you will:

  • Conduct scientific work aimed at obtaining a doctoral degree.
  • Engage in the UPLIFT project, which focuses on the upcycling of lignin into various industrially relevant applications.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary consortium alongside VITO and Hasselt University.
  • Carry out core research tasks including (hydro)pyrolysis of lignin and fractionation of lignin-oil.

Key Research Tasks:

  1. Fast pyrolysis of solid lignin residues.
  2. Hydropyrolysis of solubilized lignin in autoclave reactors.
  3. Fractionation of lignin-oil using newly-acquired setups.
