Description
As a Doctoral Fellow, you will:
- Conduct scientific work aimed at obtaining a doctoral degree.
- Engage in the UPLIFT project, which focuses on the upcycling of lignin into various industrially relevant applications.
- Work within a multidisciplinary consortium alongside VITO and Hasselt University.
- Carry out core research tasks including (hydro)pyrolysis of lignin and fractionation of lignin-oil.
Key Research Tasks:
- Fast pyrolysis of solid lignin residues.
- Hydropyrolysis of solubilized lignin in autoclave reactors.
- Fractionation of lignin-oil using newly-acquired setups.
