Eligibility/Qualification

RequirementDetails
General Eligibility– Master’s degree in medicine, biomedicine, or related field
– Equivalent knowledge through coursework totaling at least 240 credits, including 60 credits at the advanced level
Specific Eligibility– Proficiency in English (equivalent to Swedish upper secondary English B/English 6)
Skills and Personal Qualities– Motivation to improve bone health
– Curiosity, organization, teamwork, problem-solving skills
– Good communication and scientific writing skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Description

As a doctoral student, you will:

  • Engage in advanced research regarding glucocorticoids and their impact on bone health.
  • Work under the supervision of a diverse team of researchers.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art lab facilities including cell culture, confocal microscopy, and single-cell sequencing.
  • Contribute to three specific aims: characterizing bone growth impairment in ALL, studying glucocorticoids’ role in bone health, and exploring cytoprotective approaches.
