Study Area

Scholarship Description
The successful candidate will join the Ratz lab, which is part of the Karolinska Institutet’s Department of Cell and Molecular Biology. The lab is located in Biomedicum, an interdisciplinary research center equipped with advanced laboratories. The student will work on developing a novel method for simultaneous single-cell profiling of gene expression and neuronal connectivity, specifically targeting neural circuitry in autism spectrum disorder models.
Eligibility
General Eligibility Requirement
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Hold a second-cycle/advanced/master qualification.
- Have completed courses comprising at least 240 credits, with at least 60 credits at the advanced/master level.
- Possess equivalent knowledge gained in Sweden or abroad.
Specific Eligibility Requirement
Candidates must:
- Demonstrate proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English B/English 6.
