Summary:
The KU Leuven (campus Diepenbeek), in collaboration with UHasselt, is offering a full-time position for a dedicated individual to serve as an Academic Assisting Staff (AAP) member in the field of Computer Science. This role combines teaching and research (PhD) responsibilities with a focus on cybersecurity over a six-year period.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a strong Computer Science component.
- Excellent programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Rust.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, software development, and cyber-physical systems.
- Experience with Linux, embedded systems, robotics, or industrial control systems is a plus.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
Job Description:
- Conduct applied research in security and resilience of cyber-physical systems.
- Teach and support courses in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science at campus Diepenbeek.
- Deliver practical classes, oversee project supervision, and assist in evaluation activities related to programming and cybersecurity.
- Support and mentor students through their academic pathways.
