Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in a relevant field received within 2 years of starting the program
- Proven publication record in Machine Learning, Robotics, AI, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related fields
- Experience in data science and quantitative research
- Proficiency in relevant technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to independently deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Publications at top-tier, peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Expert knowledge in modeling, performance, operationalization, and scalability of scientific techniques
Job Description:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a senior science advisor and other scientists and engineers as part of Amazonโs diverse global science community. Responsibilities include:
- Progressing research projects in multi-agent path planning, dynamic OT, and X-AI.
- Participating in team processes, brainstorming with other scientists, and meeting with engineering stakeholders.
- Following projects through the entire life cycle: design, implementation, evaluation, and analysis.
- Publishing innovations in top-tier academic venues and honing presentation skills.
