Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Academic Degree: Masterโ€™s degree (or equivalent) with excellent academic performance in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
  • Research Focus: Strong interest in Neuroscience and Cell Biology.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous practical experience with primary neuronal cultures and/or iPSC-derived neurons is considered a distinct plus.
  • Soft Skills: Curious, highly motivated, committed to high-quality research, possessing excellent written and spoken English skills, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Job Description / Tasks

  • Investigate the basic mechanisms that support the local translation of mitochondrial proteins.
  • Contribute to the development of novel tools for studying mRNA trafficking and translational regulation.
  • Accurately document and analyze research data in accordance with good scientific practice.
