Research Area

The research focuses on the development of next-generation membrane processes, including:

  • Fabrication and characterization of nanoporous and polymeric materials.
  • Experimental evaluation of membrane performance in gas and liquid separations.
  • Theoretical modeling of transport and energy efficiency.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Experience in laboratory environments with a willingness to learn new methods.
  • Motivation to collaborate in an interdisciplinary and international research team.

Description

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Anthony Straub, actively participating in innovative projects that interface with NCCR Separations and leading experts in the field.
