Eligibility/Qualification

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Bio-engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related study field, or expect to obtain it by the start date.
  • Demonstrate excellent study results.
  • Possess teaching competences aligned with the University of Antwerp’s educational vision.
  • Exhibit research qualities consistent with faculty and university research policies.
  • Act with attention to quality, integrity, creativity, and cooperation.

Scholarship Description

The scholarship is initially for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional three years following a positive evaluation. The monthly scholarship amount will be calculated according to the standard rates for doctoral scholarship holders. Benefits include ecocheques, an Internet-connectivity allowance, and either a bicycle allowance or full reimbursement of public transport costs for commuting. Doctoral researchers will also have access to a wide range of courses and educational credit through the Antwerp Doctoral School. The work will primarily be conducted at Campus Drie Eiken in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
