Eligibility/Qualification

Admission Requirements

  • Master’s degree (second-cycle qualification) or equivalent (minimum 240 credits with at least 60 from the second cycle)
  • At least 90 credits relevant to the subject area (45 at the second cycle)

Additional Requirements

  • Documented subject knowledge in mathematics, applied mathematics, computer vision, machine learning, or medical imaging
  • Programming experience in machine learning and deep learning
  • Skills in Python and/or C++
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Other Qualifications

  • Knowledge in computer vision, deep learning, or multimodal learning
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Research or professional experience relevant to the project

Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

  • Development of hybrid CNN-transformer architectures for medical image analysis
  • Investigation of attention mechanisms and architectural design choices
  • Integration of imaging and patient data using multimodal models
  • Designing methods to handle missing or noisy data
  • Implementation and evaluation on medical imaging datasets
  • Participation in teaching (up to 20% of working hours) and departmental activities
