Location: Lund, Sweden

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completed second-cycle degree
  • Courses in physical chemistry, statistical thermodynamics, protein chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics, and programming are advantageous
  • Knowledge of atomistic and coarse-grained modeling and MD/MC is beneficial
  • Previous practical experience with X-ray/neutron/light scattering is a plus
  • Not resided in Sweden for more than 12 months from 2020-10-30 to 2023-10-31 for work or studies
  • Completed at least 240 credits, including 60 credits from second-cycle courses, before 2024-03-01
  • Second cycle education in a relevant field, e.g., physics, chemistry, biophysical chemistry

Job Description:

  • Conduct research on intrinsically disordered proteins and liquid-liquid phase separation
  • Use experimental and theoretical approaches, including small angle scattering, atomistic MD simulations, and coarse-grained MC simulations
  • Develop analysis routines and models
  • Secondment of 3-12 months at MAX IV laboratory in Lund
  • Attend beamtimes, international conferences, and training schools
  • Participate in specialized courses
  • Travel as required for research activities
