Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s or an equivalent degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biological Science, Medicine, or related fields
- Strong interest in immunology/macrophage biology and motivation for research lab work
- Ability to independently conduct experiments and master advanced techniques in immunology and molecular/cell biology
- Experience in working with animals (FELASA B certificate) is desirable
- Priority will be given to candidates with experience in immunology and basic immunological techniques such as flow cytometry and cell culture
- Strong communication and writing skills in English
- Motivated, committed, and ability to work effectively in a team
Job Description: The Ph.D. project will focus on understanding niche-specific cell-to-cell interactions and signals driving the phenotype and heterogeneity of testicular macrophages under normal and diseased conditions. The work will involve biomedical and immunological research techniques, including in vivo mouse models, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and biochemical methods.
