Eligibility/Qualification
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Hold qualifications equal to one of the following:
- Australian First Class Bachelor (Honours) degree
- Coursework Masters with at least 25% research component
- Research Masters degree
- Equivalent overseas qualifications
- Strong academic performance in relevant subjects (chemical engineering, polymer engineering, or material engineering/science).
- Understanding of concrete durability and willingness to learn cement and concrete chemistry.
- Motivation to undertake advanced study.
- International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency.
Description
The project focuses on improving the durability of concrete infrastructure by incorporating novel admixtures with self-healing capabilities.
