ETS, Canada invites application for ETS Master’s and Doctorate international awards for eligible and interested candidates

About– Master’s and Doctorate international awards intended to support deserving students. The École de technologie supérieure is a constituent establishment of the Université du Québec. ÉTS, which specializes in engineering and technological transfer education as well as applied research, trains engineers and researchers who are recognized for their practical and innovative approach.

Since its creation, ÉTS has pursued a mission that is deeply rooted in all its activities: To meet the needs of the industrial sector, which is in need of engineers who have not only a good theoretical background, but also practical knowledge. To fulfil this mission, ÉTS has a unique partnership with the business and industrial spheres that includes both small and large companies. It stands out from other universities in Quebec because of the applied training it offers students, as well as its research activities conducted by and for companies.

Study level– Master and PhD program

Location- ETS, Canada

Eligibility/Qualification–

In the semester of the competition:

  • Be registered full-time (including a maximum of 3 out-of-program credits) in a master’s (with thesis) or PhD program at ÉTS;
  • Must no be in a extension period: (criteria suspended for the 2021 contest)
  • Must not hold an award of $10,000 or more per year obtained in a competition / selection process (e.g. ÉTS Excellence Awards, NSERC fellowships, or other).

In addition, for master’s candidates:

  • Have a cumulative average of at least 3,5/4.3 In the current program of studies.

In addition, for PhD candidates:

  • Have passed the doctoral exam (DGA1030).

Job/Position Description- 

AMOUNT AND DURATION
  • Master’s: $5,000 (1 semester)
  • Doctorate: $7,500 (1 semester)

STUDY PROGRAM

  • Master’s Degree with Thesis
  • Doctorate
