Research Area

The research will focus on developing a fully dry, UHV-compatible transfer pathway for graphene and GNR heterostructures, preserving reactive quantum states during device integration.

Eligibility/Qualification

Candidates should have:

  • A Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Nanoscience, or a related field.
  • Experience with UHV systems, optical spectroscopy, scanning probe microscopy, or 2D materials is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Description

  • Commission and operate a UHV dry-transfer platform.
  • Assemble graphene/GNR heterostructures.
  • Investigate how different interfaces and electrostatic environments influence the electronic and spin properties of GNRs.
