About- Applications are invited for engagement of Assistant Professor on purely temporary & contractual basis for one semester extendable by one more semester subject to satisfactory performance and good conduct under the Central University of Andhra Pradesh for various Departments.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Details of qualifications and experience etc., for the posts shall be as per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018, as amended from time to time, and as per other various provisions/ notifications provided by UGC. Further, the UGC notification No.F.25-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28th January 2019 and No. F.9-1/2010(PS/MISC) Pt. Vol. I, dated 11th October 2021, may also be referred to.

Job/Position Description-Â
For the candidates having a minimum of teaching experience of two years and above as Assistant Professor on Contract/Ad-hoc/Temporary/Guest Faculty with good performance coupled with excellence in teaching ability, the engagement shall be on purely temporary & contractual basis and honorarium shall be paid @ Rs 57,000/- maximum per month or @ Rs. 1,500/- per lecture as per the actual number of classes to be engaged whichever is less. However, the workload of each contractual faculty shall be strictly as per the UGC Regulations of Assistant Professor.
For the fresh candidate, the honorarium shall be paid @ Rs 50,000/- maximum per month or @ Rs. 1,500/- per lecture as per the actual number. of classes to be engaged whichever is less. However, the workload of each faculty shall be strictly as per the UGC Regulations of Assistant Professor.
The interview will be conducted at Central University of Andhra Pradesh, JNTU Incubation Center, Chinamya Nagar, Anantapur in Hybrid Mode.
