Designation/Position- Guest Faculty Post
University of Delhi, New Delhi, India invites applications for Guest Faculty Post from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited for the appointment of Assistant Professor on Adhoc/Guest basis on vacant positions in different colleges conducting BSc, courses in Biomedical Sciences. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the MR.
(i) Plant Systematics (ii) Biology of Bryophytes, Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms (iii) Microbiology and Phycology and Semester III papers entitled (i) Plant Biotechnology and Resource Utilization (ii) Genetics and Cytogenetics (iii) Cell and Molecular Biology
Location- University of Delhi, Delhi
1) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clauses (ii) & (iii) of General Note in the last section of this document). NET Exemption Certificate is a must as Proof in the case, wherever applicable.
Desirable: Candidates should have a few years of teaching experience in the University /colleges/institute and must have taught them at the Post Graduate level.
A relaxation of 5% may be provided (from 55% to 50% of the marks) to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991.
The Department of Botany intends to appoint Five (05) Guest Faculty members to teach Semester I papers entitled
(i) Plant Systematics (ii) Biology of Bryophytes, Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms (iii) Microbiology and Phycology and Semester III papers entitled (i) Plant Biotechnology and Resource Utilization (ii) Genetics and Cytogenetics (iii) Cell and Molecular Biology during academic session 2022-2023.
These positions are sanctioned against the vacant positions of 05 Associate Professors (ST-01, OBC-02, EWS-OI, LD-OI) and 08 Professors (UR-OI, SC-02, ST-Ol, OBC-02, EWS-OI, LD-OI)
