Research Area & Department

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (CSE/IT/AI/ECE/EE/allied branches ) (or candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting degree award/defense, subject to institute rules).
- Academic Track Record: Consistent academic record with high-quality research publications in reputed SCI/SCIE-indexed peer-reviewed journals.
- Desirable Skills: Strong background in experimental/numerical methodologies, data analysis, specialized software, analytical instrumentation, and technical report drafting related to the project scope.
- Age Limit: As per the norms of the funding agency and IIT (ISM) Dhanbad guidelines (relaxations applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules).
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research, experimental investigations, modeling, simulation, and data analysis as outlined in the project mandate.
- Draft high-impact research articles, technical project reports, and patent documents.
- Coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations, oversee analytical instrumentation, and guide graduate/undergraduate project assistants.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and presentations for project review meetings with the funding agency.
Remuneration & Fellowship
The selected Post Doctoral Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship / stipend and applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA) as sanctioned by the funding agency and governed by the institutional guidelines of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
