Eligibility/Qualification

  • Applicants must complete their studies of the VII/2 level in Chemistry or related sciences by the end of September 2025.
  • Must not have previously enrolled in doctoral studies.
  • Must fulfill all conditions for enrollment in doctoral studies at the University of Ljubljana for the academic year 2025/2026.

Job Description

The selected candidates will:

  • Engage in research under the mentorship of department heads at the National Institute of Chemistry.
  • Attend one conference per year of their choice.
  • Participate in a six-month training program abroad.
  • Conduct their doctoral studies leading to a Ph.D. degree.

  • Letter of motivation (maximum one A4 page)
  • An essay on one of the specified topics (maximum one A4 page)

  3. Are the Days of Genetic Diseases Numbered?
