Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellowship: The Writing and Communication Program (WCP) at Georgia Tech invites applications for the Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellowship in Composition, Business/Technical Communication, and Digital Pedagogy. This three-year fellowship, starting August 1, 2024, includes teaching, research, and service responsibilities. The deadline for optimal consideration is February 1, 2024.

Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in rhetoric, composition, business/technical communication, literature, film, visual rhetoric/design, or related humanities fields conferred by August 1, 2024. The Ph.D. should be awarded within the last five years. Applicants should possess university-level experience in teaching writing and communication courses.

Job Description: The fellowship involves a 3/3 teaching assignment in first-year composition or business/technical communication, integrating the fellow’s research interests into the courses. Responsibilities also include pursuing scholarly research and/or creative work, serving on WCP committees, attending seminars, and participating in support activities. The first-year base salary is $58,635, with increments for the second and third years.
