Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering.
  • Proven experience in synthetic organic chemistry or systems chemistry.
  • Expertise in characterization methods of organic and polymeric materials.
  • Collaborative research skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Capacity to guide and mentor junior researchers.

Job Description:

  • Lead the development of synthetic methods for functional materials using interfacial assemblies.
  • Innovate new concepts for pattern generation in liquid assemblies.
  • Develop strategies for chemical and energetic transformation controls in all-liquid materials.
  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators and postdocs to explore reconfigurability principles of structured liquids.
  • Mentor junior researchers and publish scientific findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to the Lab’s safety culture and promote scientific projects to diverse audiences.
