Nanoscience Post-Doctoral Fellow: The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) is seeking a highly motivated Nanoscience Post-Doctoral Fellow to join a research team focused on a Department of Defense-funded project studying interfacial interactions between microbes and Metal-organic Frameworks (MOFs). Eligibility/Qualification
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science or a related field (e.g., biomolecular science, chemical and biological sciences, nanoscale sciences, nanotechnology)
- Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience in electron microscopy (HR-TEM and SEM)
- Exposure to microbiology research and experience interfacing live microbes with abiotic substrates
Job Description
The postdoctoral fellow’s primary responsibilities will include:

Additional Tasks:
- Drive project goals and meet project objectives on time
- Oversee one undergraduate and one graduate student on the project
- Manage the laboratory
