Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A PhD degree or expected to obtain one upon arrival.
  • Strong background in experimental solid-state chemistry.
  • Experience in high-pressure synthesis, crystal growth, and physical property measurements preferred.
  • Familiarity with condensed matter physics and/or materials science, especially in magnetism, is highly desirable.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will engage in experimental studies for the development of novel magnetic materials that exhibit exchange bias effects, without relying on artificial interfaces. Duties include:

  • High-pressure synthesis and crystal growth of complex oxides.
  • Structural and magnetic characterization using techniques such as XRD, SQUID magnetometry, and neutron diffraction.
  • Participation in collaborative experiments at international synchrotron and neutron facilities, with a focus on optimizing material properties for spintronics applications.
