Eligibility/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in entomology, biology, animal behavior, ecology, chemical ecology, or related field.

Ph.D. Graduate Assistantship – Applied Chemical Ecology for Managing the Invasive Swede Midge
The Ph.D. student will:
- Compare pheromone dispenser types to determine efficacy and affordability.
- Investigate how weather conditions affect dispenser capture efficacy.
- Determine how to deploy pheromone mating disruption within an annual cropping system.
- Develop tools for educating growers nationally about the invasive swede midge.
