Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A master’s degree in biology, biomedical sciences, or related fields.
  • Alternatively, a degree in epidemiology, statistics, mathematics, or bioinformatics with an affinity for biology and genetics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Experience in cardiovascular genetics is advantageous.
  • Proficient in PLINK, Python, R, and command-line environments like Bash.
  • Fluent in English.

Description

The successful candidate will join a team of researchers, bioinformaticians, and medical doctors to study cardiovascular disease genetics. They will work with extensive datasets, including array genotyped, whole-genome sequencing (WGS), and whole-exome sequencing (WES) data.
