Eligibility/Qualification
- A Master’s degree in materials science, materials chemistry, solid-state chemistry, or equivalent.
- Academic background relevant to ceramics, membranes, or electrochemistry.
- Strong academic performance with an average grade of B or better according to NTNU’s grading scale.
- Familiarity with materials characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, Raman, FT-IR, etc.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Admission requirements for the faculty’s Doctoral Programme must be met.
Job Description
- Conduct research to develop characterization techniques for lithium extraction processes.
- Identify limitations and strengths of current materials and monitor extraction processes in real time.
- Engage in academic publications and disseminate research findings.
- Collaborate and participate actively in the research group and in international conferences or research stays.
- Complete PhD education and participate in the organized doctoral program throughout employment.
